Miracle on Mercer Street: Spend Christmas In A Suite This Year
Hotel offers bespoke concierge service* in the heart of London
London, UK – 13th November 2013: Santa reading a bedtime story, a personal performance of the Nutcracker and every present wrapped and stored away from prying eyes may sound like the stuff of festive folklore but, this year, a London hotel is offering its guests exactly that, via their bespoke concierge service.
The Mercer Street Hotel, in the heart of Seven Dials, is using its relationships across the city to design the ultimate Christmas experience to allow customers to forget all about the stresses and strains in preparing for the big day. Guests who stay at one of the eight suites at the 137-bed, four-star hotel will be able to tailor make their festive fun from a menu of options designed to celebrate the best of London at Christmas.
Designed for those who want to spend a magical Christmas in the heart of Dickensian London, the hotel will offer bespoke experiences in the surrounding areas of Covent Garden, Seven Dials and Theatreland. Visitors can choose from:
Father Christmas making a specially-extended visit to read the timeless “The Night Before Christmas” before filling the stockings hung on the bed
A short scene from The Nutcracker or a sketch from a traditional pantomime performed live in their room
Enjoying dinner at the hotel’s British soul food restaurant Scoff & Banter having left their presents to be beautifully gift wrapped away from prying eyes
Tickets to a West End show of their choice
Dawn Thomas, General Manager of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel, says: “London holds a special magic at Christmas, offering a rare moment of calm in an otherwise busy city. Seven Dials is unquestionably one of London’s most vibrant locations, with a rich individuality and a genuinely village feel. “We have seen ever more people staying with us at Christmas whether visiting family or friends in town or coming to the country for their Christmas break. This specially-designed package will offer those guests who want to free themselves from the pressure of Christmas but who want to stay in the city – to enjoy it at its most serene in the perfect, intimate environment.”
