Shopping in Notting Hill

Notting Hill is a great place for shopping, not only do you have a few great designer stores such as Alice Temperley, Diane von Furstenberg, Joseph and Nicole Farhi. You also have all the typically popular high end high street shops such as Jigsaw, Whistles, LK Bennett, Monsoon and many more and a few great boutiques like Nancy Pop, Willma, One and Matches 85.

You also have the infamous Portobello market. Here you can pick up many great pieces whether it is jewellery, clothes and or antiques/ paintings. If you have some time we would recommend that you try and experience this market as there is such a great vibe as you walk down Portobello road.

Westbourne Grove is one of the best roads to walk down and find many delicious eateries. So whatever you are craving you will be sure to find something in the area that will satisfy you. .

Electric Brasserie – Located on Portobello Road, this is a great place to go with friends or for a nice long lunch, it had both indoor and out door seating and great food.

E&O – Located on Blenheim Cres, not only does it serve amazing Pan Asian food but it always has a great buzz.

Lisboa Patisserie – Located on Golborne Road – Great for authentic Portuguese food!

Beach Blanket Babylon – Located on Ledbury Road great for the decor and atmosphere!

Osteria Basilico – Located on Kensington Park road… Brilliant cute little Italian restaurant.

Not only do you have the great market vibe, but once a year you also have the very famous Notting Hill Carnival usually in August which is definitely worth going to – we recommend that you go in the day time as it can get a bit rowdy in the evening.

You also have the Electric cinema theatre on Portobello road, serving great food and drink to add to the experience.
