Charity we support

Aware of our potential to make a difference to the lives of people in need, we’re supporting the work of two charities striving to give disadvantaged children and young people a start in life most of us take for granted.

National Youth Orchestra

National Youth Orchestra

For 64 years, the National Youth Orchestra has united Great Britain’s most talented and committed young musicians.

As members of NYO, young British teenagers from diverse backgrounds across the country come together to create unforgettable orchestral performances full of verve and passion, develop as musicians and as people, learn from world-renowned musicians and inspire thousands of young people each year.

 

World Childhood Foundation

World Childhood Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the most vulnerable children worldwide. Over 120 projects in 15 countries help children at risk from abuse and exploitation, giving them the chance of a better start in life.

 

We recently donated £5000 to the 'Get London Reading' campaign pioneered by the Evening Standard newspaper - read the thank you letter from the Evening Standard.

 

World Monuments FundWorld Monuments Fund (WMF) is the leading non-governmental organisation for the protection of cultural heritage. The WMF believe that built heritage is everyone’s environment, and we invite you to join us in supporting them.

 

 

The Springboard Charity The Springboard Charity is a forerunner in helping young, unemployed and disadvantaged people improve their prospects for economic well being. They provide opportunities for sustainable employment, or vibrant careers in hospitality, leisure and tourism. Springboard is our preferred charity for our Restaurants and Bars, and we donate everytime you choose our charity dish from the menu.

 

The value we place on people and relationships extends beyond our hotels to the neighbourhoods that surround them. That’s why each hotel plays an active role in its community. We are committed to positively affecting the lives of local people, so we build lasting relationships with the charities that support them. 

 

Shooting Star CHASERadisson Blu Edwardian Guildford
Shooting Star CHASE is the children's hospice service, supporting local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday. Shooting Star CHASE currently helps over 500 families living in western London, Surrey and West Sussex.

 

Harlington Hospice AssociationRadisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow hotel are proud supporters of the Harlington Hospice Association, a charity based in Hillingdon who focus on individuals with life limiting illnesses, enhancing the quality of life of those who use the hospice and their loved ones. This year our staff raised over £800 by recycling old uniforms and taking part in a charity skydive.

 

The Covent Garden Dragon Hall TrustRadisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel
Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street hotel in London's Covent Garden supports The Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust. Established in 2003 the charity provides a community facility in the heart of Covent Garden & Holborn to serve the needs of local residents and the wider public.

 

The Connection at St Martins-in-the-fieldRadisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire and Leicester Square Hotels
The Hampshire and Leciester Square hotels support The Connection at St Martins-in-the-field, a charity will helps homeless people through specialist services such as a Day and Night Centre and skills training. This helps them to address the issues that made them homeless, in order to build confidence and make positive changes to their lives. We've been working with the charity to help people get back into work and so far we have employed 3 full time staff through the scheme.

 

Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf hotel are proud supporters of Richard Beckton Children's Hospice in Beckton, who for life-limited children and children with complex healthcare conditions and their families from across east and north east London.

 

Centrepoint

Radisson Blu The Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street and Kenilworth hotels both support Centrepoint, a charitable trust who support young people who are homeless. Edwardian Bloomsbury Street and Kenilworth Hotels

 

The Passage
The May Fair Hotel
The May Fair Hotel is proud to support The Passage. This charity's mission is to provide the resources which inspire, encourage and challenge homeless people to transform their lives. The Passage run London's largest voluntary day centre helping over 200 homeless people everyday. Last Christmas The May Fair staff provided food and supplies to The Passage for their staff Christmas party.

 

 


when You Wish Upon A StarRadisson Blu Edwardian Manchester Hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester hotel is a supporter of When You  Wish Upon A Star, a charity who grant the wishes of seriously ill children. The Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester Hotel recently donated £900 to send a child with a life threatening illness and their guardian to Lapland to meet Santa

 

Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton Hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton hotel support the Bravo Trust, provide education, training and performance opportunities in relation to theatre activities and performing arts for adults with learning difficulties.

 

FOCUS Kensington and Chelsea FoundationRadisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt has chosen to support FOCUS Kensington and Chelsea Foundation. FOCUS K&C has been set up by local people to generate support for the more than 500 local charities addressing the issues surrounding the social and economic gaps within the Royal Borough and to foster local pride and responsibility. The staff at the Vanderbilt have been working with FOCUS K&C providing gifts to the homeless and raising cash through a staff raffle.

We recently hosted an afternoon with the Give Us a Break project, giving vital support to carers. Read their thank you letter to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt team.

 

King Edward VII hospitalRadisson Blu Edwardian Sussex Hotel
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex hotel supports the King Edward VII hospital. The chairty provides the highest levels of healthcare to those who need it most including the nation's armed forces, ensuring they receive quality treatment at no cost. The Sussex continue to support the charity with cash raised through staff raffles and cake sales in the canteen.


Breast Cancer Campaign
Radisson Blu Edwardian Head Office
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Head Office are proud supporters of the Breast Cancer Campaign. The charity's mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. Over £1000 was raised for the Breast Cancer Campaign last year from doantions at the staff Christmas party.
