Here at Radisson Blu Edwardian we are committed to responsible business initiatives focusing on Ethics, Culture, Community and the Environment. Our goal is simple, we aim to improve the hotels' overall ecological and carbon footprint and employ the most responsible working practices.

2 Star Rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association

By achieving Two Star Sustainability Champion status in 2012 after achieving One Star Sustainability Champion status in 2011, Radisson Blu Edwardian is demonstrating its commitment to the journey it is on.

The Sustainable Restaurant Association commends Radisson Blu Edwardian for its commitment to local and seasonal produce as reflected in its choice of UK produce and its regularly changing menus. It also commends the group for its Society score which reflects some exemplary staff policies and a desire to treat customers responsibly by offering a wide range of healthy eating options and ensuring that its sustainable ethos is well communicated. In Environment, the SRA notes the group’s commitment to reducing its waste, energy and water usage and for having a wide range of practices in place to achieve those aims.

To show our commitment to responsible business practices, Radisson Blu Edwardian requested the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) to conduct SRA Accreditation of the hotels' restaurants as well as rate the sustainability of our restaurants as a group. As a result, Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotels achieved One-Star Sustainability Champion status. We believe this is a great achievement for us.

In June 2011, Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotels was awarded the Cauldron Local Hero award by the National Vegetarian Society for showcasing a special vegetarian menu during National Vegetarian week in 2011.

In 2012 we continued to support National Vegetarian Week with a special vegetarian dish on the menu.

Radisson Blu Edwardian only purchases certified red tractor quality poultry. Red Tractor poultry is sourced only from British producers, and guarantees the welfare of the poultry.
