Steak & Lobster @ Alto located at the multi-award winning Radisson Blu Edwardian, Free Trade Hall Manchester hotel, is spearheading a ‘Retro Revival’.
The city-centre restaurant is asking its customers to suggest their all-time favourite retro puddings to form its new dessert menu.
The plan to bring back traditional, nostalgic treats is a result of Alto’s best-selling dessert, the Knickerbocker Glory!
“People just want to enjoy simple and tasty desserts when they dine out,” commented General Manager, Stephen Miles, “they aren’t fussed about the over-the-top and pretentious offerings, so we want to bring back a slice of Great British tradition with our retro deserts menu, by asking customers to tell us what puddings they want to bring back.”
To be part of Steak & Lobster @ Alto’s ‘Retro Dessert Revival’ just head in to the restaurant and put forward your pud suggestion. Forget infused sorbets and posh panna cotta it’s all about the return of Jam Roly Poly, Artic Roll and Blackforest Gateau!
Steak & Lobster @ Alto is known for its Steak & Lobster dining concept: no menu, just a simple choice between the eponymous mains. The steak, a 10oz Ribeye, is served with garlic and chive butter and the Lobster are served whole. Both come with a bowl of fries and a dressed salad. Expect to be served the freshest seasonal produce, at a set price of £15.
