JASMINDER SINGH ANNOUNCES A THIRD MAJOR PURCHASE IN FOUR MONTHS
After buying hotels in Manchester and Canary Wharf at the end of last year, Jasminder Singh is continuing on the acquisition trail with the purchase of the Odeon Leicester Square this week.
The property has planning permission for a new 245 bedroom hotel, a two screen cinema, 33 residential properties and five restaurants on Leicester Square.
Singh, Chairman of Edwardian Group has added the prestigious address to his growing empire of twelve hotels in London and two outside the capital with recent spending on purchases and investment in the group of over £200m.
Speaking of the announcement Robert Morley, Director of Edwardian Group said: “The purchase of this site is one of the most important acquisitions for London and we see this as another jewel in our crown. Not only will it be a landmark development for the capital but it will create upwards of 400 jobs. This is what our group is all about – investment in potential, creation of jobs and a huge vision for the future.”

Mr. Singh and his group are planning to make significant announcements about the purchase in the coming weeks.
