Jazz Supper Club hosted at our Alto restaurant on the last Sunday of the month
JAZZ SUPPER CLUB
Radisson Blu Edwardian are proud to honour the hey days of Jazz in Manchester, by recreating one of the most popular clubs in town - Club 43. Once a month in our ALTO restaurant we will be putting on a jazz supper club featuring a specially prepared buffet and showcasing some of the best musicians performing around the circuits today.
Club43 would like thank all our patrons over the last year. 2012 was our best year yet, and we are looking forward to seeing you all in 2013 for more great food, great music and a really great time.

Next Jazz Night - Sunday May 26th: Fresh Dixie Project
Returning by popular demand! Fresh Dixie Project are 5 young gents from the South East, pumping out the most 'hard-hitting, chin-scratching, toe tapping tunes you ever did hear'.
With a mix of re vamped standards and fresh original material, these boys aim to revive the Dixieland and Swing sound of the 20's and 30's with a 'fresh' modern twist. Expect vocal acrobatics, punchy drums, chunky guitar, some piano twinkles and a sax on fire!
These boys really injected some youth and vibrance into our little club the last time they were here and we are very excited to have them back. www.freshdixieproject.com

Jazz in Manchester
Manchester is steeped in JAZZ history…great musicians would come from all over the world to play here in the 50s and 60s, during the hey days of Jazz. The Free Trade Hall would play host to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Woody Herman, Count Basie, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and Billie Holiday – these were not just some of the greatest names in jazz, they were the jazz elite!
Created by a man named Eric Scriven, Club 43 was the place to go when you wanted to see great jazz musicians jamming together in a more intimate venue. Now the Manchester jazz scene is being honoured by the recreation of Club 43 as a supper club on the site of the Free Trade Hall by Radisson Blu Edwardian hotels.
