Shopping in MayfairIf you are into high end designer labels then you are in the right place. With Bond Street just around the corner, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to Designers. From Chanel to Louis Vuitton, and Cartier to De Beers most of the well known global brands can be found there. Another great street, just off Bond Street is Burton Street where you will find great boutiques and more high end designers such as Diane von Furstenberg Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Juicy Couture. If you are a fan of department stores then you are also in luck as on Bond Street you have Fenwick and on Oxford Street you have the infamous Selfridges and you also have Debenhams, House of Fraser and Jonh Lewis – so you are spoilt for choice. 2. Geo F Trumper Whilst all the ladies are shopping this is a great place for men to relax and enjoy the perks of male grooming. Be careful as you may bump into so Royals or A list celebrities! Address: 9 Curzon Street, London W1J 5HQ.

Cafés and restaurants in Mayfair Firstly The May Fair Bar is a great place to eat if you would like a casual atmosphere; we would recommend that you try the fish and chips or the steak sandwiches, delicious! You may not think that there are many cafes and restaurants around Mayfair however if you just walk around the corner from the hotel you will see Starbucks and many other great little cafes. Another great place where there are lots of great eateries is on Shepherds Market. This is about a three minute walk away from The May Fair hotel and always has a great atmosphere.
Top 5 hidden Gems Automat– Located on Dover Street, has amazing burgers and a very stylish crowd, so it is great for people watching. Alloro – Located on Dover Street, a great little Italian restaurant and very reasonably priced. Umo – Located on Burton Place, one of the best Japanese restaurants in London and not know to many, Umo houses over 70 premium sake labels. The Guinea – Located on Burton Place, this is a traditional English pub, has amazing steak and the Pies are one of the best in London. Le Caprice – Located on Arlington Street, and a favourite to many celebrities, you will not be disappointed when you come to dine here.
Entertainment and going out in Mayfair Mayfair may come across as more quite to other areas in London, however the fact that you are so close to many great places is the beauty of the location. If you are interested in films, not only do you have the May Fair Film Clun but you also have the Curzon Cinema just around the corner, and if that is not good enough Leicester Square is a short walk away and you have one of the best Odeon Cinemas in town! In terms of night life you have The May Fair Bar, and then to continue your night you Mahiki around the corner along with Jalouse and Pigalle Club.
