Press Room Home 9 February 2006 Radisson Edwardian Officially Best Large Hotel in Manchester
Central Manchester's only five star hotel, the Radisson Edwardian Free Trade Hall on Peter Street, has been named the city's "Best Large Hotel" at the Manchester Tourism Awards 2006. The Awards, organised by the city's tourism office Marketing Manchester, recognise and celebrate the high levels of investment in quality and the outstanding contributions to tourism in the region.
The Radisson Edwardian hotel was announced as winner of the "Best large Hotel" accolade at a prestigious event in the city on Thursday 2 February 2006. Commenting on the award, Stephen Miles General Manager at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel said, "Since we opened the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in summer 2004, we have been committed to offering the best quality and service to our guests and championing Manchester as one of the most vibrant cities to visit. We are delighted to have won this award and are proud of our achievement".
The 263-room hotel, located at the historic Free Trade Hall, boasts superior conference facilities, one of the city's leading bars and restaurants, Opus One and a luxurious Spa, offering a range of treatments to residential guests and visitors.
