RADISSON EDWARDIAN MANCHESTER WINS HOTEL OF THE YEAR

Radisson Edwardian Manchester was last night crowned Large Hotel of the Year for the third time at the Manchester Tourism Awards 2010.

Judges felt the hotel demonstrated: “A very high quality guest welcome, combined with excellent room facilities and good standards of customer service, making the hotel a very worthy winner.” The hotel beat off stiff competition from The Lowry, Hilton Manchester Deansgate, MacDonald Hotel and The Midland.

Commented General Manager Stephen Miles, “I am absolutely thrilled and very proud of the whole team. Our focus helps us to deliver consistently high standards and this is testament to the fact we have now won this award 3 times in the last 5 years.”

The Manchester Tourism Awards 2010 were hosted by actor and comedian John Thomson and attracted an audience of the region’s most influential tourism representatives. The Awards were organised by Marketing Manchester, the agency charged with promoting Manchester on a national and international stage.

The award winning Radisson Edwardian Free Trade Hall Hotel, Manchester opened in 2004. Accolades for the hotel include:
