Radisson Blu Edwardian Guide to Heathrow
Our guide to shopping, eating and entertainment in HeathrowHeathrow is known to have the busiest airport and the main airport for London. Most major airlines fly into Heathrow, and it is the only airport that has a London Underground Tube stop. Eventhough Heathrow is more of an airport destination, however it is also close to many lovely towns such as Windsor and Richmond.
Read our guide to find out what shops and restaurants/cafes you can expect to find when roaming around Heathrow. We have also suggested a few great places to go and have a nice meal at.
Shopping in HeathrowIn regards to shopping near Heathrow, we would suggest that if you would like a pleasant day out Richmond and Windsor would be great places to go to. Both great high streets where you will find most of the popular high street shops, and you will also find the odd high end boutique which is great. If you want to go to a shopping mall, we would suggest that you make a trip to Westfield shopping centre. This has everything from you top designers such as Christian Dior to popular high street stores such as New Look and River Island. There is a great food hall area there as well to keep your energy going.
Cafés and restaurants in Oxford Street Unfortunately there are not many great restaurants in Heathrow itself. First we would suggest our very own Brassiere in Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow, as it has consistently great food. However if you like fast food you are in luck as there are many McDonalds scattered around the area. However, a few minutes drive away and you are in Southall which is home to many of the best Indian restaurants. A slightly longer drive and you are near Windsor, or in the different direction Richmond and Chiswick which all have many lovely restaurant and cafes. So if you would like a memorable meal we would suggest you may have to venture out abit.

Entertainment and going out in Heathrow You will find that there is actually a fair bit you can do around Heathrow. Firstly if you like bowling you have Airport Bowl on your doorstep. Thorpe Park and Lego land are both about 15-20min away by car which is a great day out and ones the kids usually enjoy. If you like nice scenery we recommend that you make a trip to Syon House, which is the London home of the Duke of Northumberland, Kew Gardens, where you can explore glasshouses, landscapes and 250 years of history at the world's most famous garden. Climb to the treetops, delve into rainforest or discover more on a guided tour. You also have the infamous Windsor Castle and Hampton Court, which are both great days out in terms of sight seeing. In relation to bars and clubs, we would suggest you venture to either Windsor, Kingston and or Richmond, all of which have lovely bars and a few clubs.
